Australian Federal Treasurer , Peter Costello ,Anwar Ibrahim, Yassin Al-Qadi -and a missing USD 8 billion.

The Australian Federal Treasurer , Peter Costello was one of few, if not the only official of the Australian Government who had met with Anwar Ibrahim; and Anwar Ibrahim has acknowledged Peter Costello, in public , as a friend who has helped him.

Peter Costello has refused to answer questions put to him about any assistance provided Anwar Ibrahim prior to and/or after his arrest in 1998 , with regards to providing Anwar Ibrahim, and/or his associates a safe haven for their assets.

SBS Dateline has linked Anwar Ibrahim, his representative in Australia Dr Rahim Ghouse, the Al-Qaeda financier Shiek Yassin Al-Qadi and their business partner Dr Wan Hasni Wan Sulaiman to the Melbourne based Commercial IBT Pty Ltd .

CIBT Pty Ltd was reported to be a warehouse for some USD 8 billion in assets ,mostly cash. It was recently put into liquidation by ASIC,but in a manner that allowed its assets to be shifted elsewhere before any action to secure the assets could be taken.

Raja Petra Kamaruddin, a director of the Free Anwar Campaign has admitted to an attempt at preventing questions about CIBT being raised in the Malaysian Parliament. ASIC and APRA have both acknowledged being aware of issues of concern at CIBT for at least a year and a half before taking any action.The issues of concern were substantially the same as those which led to the liquidation.

Both ASIC and APRA,as well as the ATO,which is now also interested in the matter of CIBT , are bodies that report to the Treasurer .

The Treasurer Peter Costello has refused to confirm or deny if he has received any form of contribution from all or any of the parties named above, as well as Dr Adrian Ong and/or others associated with Commercial IBT,most of whom lived and operated their businesses out of the Treasurer's electorate of Higgins.

Among these is one Peter (or Petr) Talic , Commercial IBT's last director,on whose behalf the Federal Treasurer intervened in writing in a matter concerning Talic's opposition to a proposal before his local council.

Rahim Ghouse menjadi antara pemegang kunci/amanah menjaga harta Anwar di luar Negara?

Kadang-kadang, penulis blog ini rasa nak ketawa tengok gelagat Anwar melompat dalam mempertahan isu kononnya dia tidak pernah MENGARAHkan sebarang transaksi yang melibatkan dana yang besar sewaktu dalam Kerajaan.

Anwar masih lagi mahu mempertahan pandangan bahawa dia adalah maksum, sangat bersih, tidak rasuah, putih dan tidak cacat dengan sebarang masalah pada zaman dalam Kerajaan.

Terus terang, siapa yang tidak kenal Anwar sewaktu dia dalam kerajaan..? Anwar TPM..., Anwar Menteri Kewangan. Luar biasa kuasa yang ada pada Anwar....!

Yang lebih menyeronokkan Anwar adalah bagaimana Tun Mahathir, sangat mempercayai dan membenarkan sahaja apa sahaja perancangan yang dibuat oleh Anwar. Alasan Anwar kepada Tun; dia memerlukan BAJET yang cukup bagi menjaga kepentingan UMNO. Benarkah begitu..?

Hari ini, Anwar adalah individu pertama yang menyerang IPP kononnya sebagai projek yang MEMBEBANKAN rakyat....! Anwar lupa agaknya, bahawa dia adalah indvidu yang paling awal mendapat REZEKI yang tidak pernah putus daripada projek IPP. Anwar lupa..?

Lumut Power Plant and also known Segari Power Plant is a combine cycle power plant. Owned by Segari Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd (SEV), a subsidiary company of Malakoff Berhad. Located at Mukim Pengkalan Baru, District of Manjung in Lumut Perak with 80 acre site on old tin mining land.

It is located 30 km from Manjung Coal Fired 3X700 MW Power Plant which owned by Tenaga Nasional Berhad. Segari combine cycle power plant is designed with net output 1,300 MW power generation making it is the biggest gas fired power plant in Malaysia.

Biar blog ini ingatkan Anwar tentang ‘Segari Plant’ di mana Anwar berjaya mendapatkan RM100 juta pertama dalam hidupnya...!

Seterusnya dana RM100 juta itu disebarkan di beberapa akaun asing di Hong Kong, Singapura, Amerika dan lain-lain. RM100 juta pada tahun itu, sama nilai agaknya dengan RM500 juta pada masa sekarang. Mewah Anwar....!!

Sebenarnya, Anwar yang kita kenal hari ini boleh hidup tanpa sebarang masalah sehingga generasi ke 15. Tak ada masalah... Kalau gunakan ‘bunga’ sahaja, mereka boleh hidup mewah di mana-mana sahaja di dunia.

Hakikat bahawa Anwar ini adalah seorang yang sangat KORUP pernah dibangkitkan oleh seorang Ahli Politik UMNO bernama – Astaman Abdul Aziz, bekas Ahli Parlimen Titiwangsa, bekas Ketua UMNO Bahagian Wangsa Maju.

Astaman kenal sangat dengan Anwar, kerana Anwarlah yang telah membeli Segari Plant melalui proksi dengan harga RM180 juta. Yang dapat kepada Astaman dan seorang lagi Director hanyalah RM80 juta. Selebihnya...? Bakinya diarah untuk diberikan kepada Anwar. Lesen Segari Plant ini akhirnya menjadi modal Anwar untuk mendapat RM100 juta yang pertama dalam hidupnya.

Setelah mendapatkan lesen daripada Astaman dengan harga tersebut; usaha pembinaan Segari memakan belanja lebih RM1bilion. Dikhabarkan kepada Tun Mahathir (PM ketika itu) bahawa Anwar meminta RM400 juta sebagai ‘komisyen’ daripada projek Segari.

Apabila ditanya – Anwar mengatakan dia memerlukan wang untuk memastikan UMNO akan terbela dan terpelihara dengan baik apabila tiba masanya untuk Tun M berundur. Kerana terlalu percaya, Tun M setuju.

Bayangkan, untuk IPP Segari sahaja, Anwar mencatatkan keuntungan ‘atas angin’ hampir RM500 juta.

Boleh Anwar nafikan ini...? Boleh Anwar nafikan bahawa Rahim Ghouse menjadi antara pemegang kunci/amanah menjaga harta Anwar di luar Negara?

Harap Astaman berani tampil dan terangkan bagaimana urusniaga Anwar dilakukan sewaktu dia masih berjawatan dalam UMNO dan kerajaan.

Anwar bersih...? Pigi dah…!!

Australia: More instances of apparent influence of Islamists leading to failures in governance

This article is to be read in conjunction with my article below, Islamist influences on the advice  provided Australian intelligence.

The photograph at page 5 of the Queensland Muslim Times, May 2005 edition , at linkhttp://www.qmt.org.au/modules/wfdownloads/uploads/may.pdf shows two senators of the Australian Federal Parliament's  Senate , Brett Mason (centre), and George Brandis, (2nd from right) together with Dr Rahim Ghouse (3rd from left), business associate of the SDGT Yassin Al-Kadi.

The photograph was taken sometime in March 2005, at the home of   Khalid Ibrahim, a Malaysian businessman who is also a permanent resident of Australia. Khalid had hosted a private  reception for  Anwar  Ibrahim (3rd from right)  at his home in Brisbane, capital city of the state of Queensland.

The visit to Brisbane was part of what Anwar called his tour of Australia to thank personally her  people  for their support during his time in jail. Anwar had been released from prison in late 2004.

A short period of time after that reception, Khalid was appointed Treasurer of the Justice Party in Malaysia which is led by Anwar's wife, and to which he is adviser. 

Both senators have refused to respond to numerous queries put them, asking that they explain how they came to be invited to that private function.

Mason was recently the subject of a financial investigation , for not having declared to Parliament investments  of  undisclosed amounts.

Senator Mason is a member of the Senate Legal and Constitutional Committee which last year reviewed and made submission on the provisions of the Australian  Anti-Terrorism Bill (see final report at http://www.aph.gov.au/SEnate/committee/legcon_ctte/terrorism/report/report.pdf)

Senator Brandis also played an active part in the deliberations of that committee.

Readers will note in that report at least 13 references to Dr Waleed Kadous and Agnes Chong , named as  co-conveners of  an organisation called AMCRAN. These references are to statements by the two, and it would appear that their statements have been used in support of the recommendations that the  Committee made, many of which were in opposition to the provisions of the  Anti-Terrorism Bill.

A sermon or khutbah delivered by Dr Waleed Kadous at the university he is attached to includes the following teaching:

This document has been available for many years in the public domain.Yet, the Committee saw fit to place reliance, in a report whose objective is the promotion of democratic principles,  the submissions of an avowed Islamists who abhors democracy.

Both men are also members of the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Standing Committee , which oversees amongst other things, the activities of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Department of Foreign Affairs , via an agency named AUSAID, runs a programme in Indonesia named LAPIS (www.lapis.or.id) which involves the spending of AUD 30 million(about USD 24 million) with the objective of improving the management of madrasahs in Indonesia. AUSAID runs  a similar project in Mindanao called BEAM (see www.beam.org.ph).

Both men are known supporters of the Treasurer  of the Australian Federal Parliament, Peter Costello. Costello is seen as a  likely successor to Prime Minister Johh Howard.

Peter Costello was one of few, if not the only, official of the Australian Government who had met with Anwar Ibrahim when he visited Australia ; and Anwar Ibrahim has acknowledged Peter Costello, in public , as a friend who had  helped him when he was sacked and thrown in jail by former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad.

Peter Costello has refused to answer questions put to him about any assistance provided Anwar Ibrahim prior to and/or after his arrest in 1998 , in particular providing Anwar Ibrahim, and/or his associates a safe haven for their assets in Australia. This query was motivated by the fact that many of Anwar's associates , including his chief adviser Rahim Ghouse, sought refuge in Australia after his arrest.

These queries were also motivated by Costello's personal intervention in a matter concerning one Peter  (or Petr) Talic , the last listed director of the Rahim Ghouse-Yassin Al-Kadi linked  Commercial IBT (see page 9, 29 of document athttp://www.stonnington.vic.gov.au/pdf/NP19032001.pdf)

I remember telling you the story about one of Anwar’s lawyers, Pawancheek Marican, asking me to close down the FAC back in 2004. Pawancheek had asked me how much money I had received to fund the FAC and I told him so far only RM3,000 — RM1,000 from Wan Azizah and RM2,000 from Anwar’s brother, Rosli.

This made Pawancheek very upset. He said that ‘they’ had been collecting millions so how come I only received RM3,000? He also told me he had met Anwar in prison to complain about this but Anwar did not say anything. Hence Pawancheek suggested that I close down the FAC so that they can no longer use it to raise money.

And who are ‘they’? ‘They’ are Azmin Ali, Khalid Jaafar, Anuar Shaari, Dr Rahim Ghouse, Tian Chua, Elizabeth Wong, Saifuddin Nasution, Ezam Mohd Nor, Ruslan Kassim, etc.

On one occasion, one of the PAS leaders, an ‘Old Boy’ of MCKK, told me he met one of the FAC Directors in London together with a Malaysian tycoon-in-exile. I asked this PAS leader who this ‘Director’ was and he replied Khalid Jaafar.

I was surprised. Khalid Jaafar was not one of the FAC Directors so how come he was masquerading as one? On further investigation I found out that Khalid, as the ‘Director’ of the FAC, was in London to meet this Malaysian tycoon-in-exile to arrange ‘financing’ for the FAC. Millions changed hands but not a cent went to the FAC.

On another occasion, I received a phone call from the US asking me to confirm the four ‘Directors’ of the FAC. I asked the chap from the US what their names were. Azmin Ali, Anuar Shaari, and two others whose names I will keep as a surprise.

I vouched for these four people, as I did not want to place them in an embarrassing situation. I then immediately phoned Dr Rahim Ghouse in Perth and asked him about these four people. His response was, “Four? I thought only three.” I then named the four and Dr Rahim said, “Oh, Anuar Shaari also went, is it?”

My phone call to Dr Rahim ended in a bitter quarrel. I cursed him and swore at him, the worse language I could use that included ‘mother-fucker’ and all. We did not speak for more than a year after that.

There were a number of other occasions when the FAC’s name was used to raise quite a bit of money. Hence I was not surprised when in 2004 Pawancheek spoke to me about it. I just sighed and told him that I had known this for quite some time. But I swear, I told him, all I received was RM3,000 and not a cent more than that.

Just close down the FAC, Pawancheek told me. The bastards are using you to collect money. If they gave you some funding at least that is not so bad. Now, as it is, they are collecting millions while you are funding the FAC from your own pocket. – Raja Petra

1. This is how much they can accused UMNO of being corrupted and yet at the same time these are the group of people that is even corrupted their own money for a cause where they can use it to released their own leader.
2. Malaysian should start to be aware that Parti Keadilan Rakyat and Pakatan Rakyat are not as clean as you all think and they are also not an agent for change that can really fight against corruption where they are equally corrupted.
3. Look at how the abused the public donation and fund for into their own pocket ? During MCA recent Mega Dinner where they had collected RM 30 from the public and all the entire money is being announced to the public of their total collection and it was all 100% given to the Chinese School in that particular area where the dinner was being held. The Rakyat should now start making a comparison between the money MCA had collected from the public and also how MCA practise Pakatan Rakyat CAT by being transparent to announced the total collection and donated it all to the development of Chinese Education and Parti Keadilan Rakyat who always collected all your money but then the money was never given out to the community. It all end up into few Pakatan Rakyat leaders pocket. (if only what Raja Petra claim is true).
4. Malaysian who donated to DAP , PKR or any Pakatan Rakyat cause or dinner should start to question there where did all the money goes and how did they actually used all the money being collected ? Please do not let Pakatan Rakyat , DAP or PKR to further manipulate you all where they all are free from corruption therefore they are poor and need funding from the public where most of them already got a lot of International Funding worth millions of dollars.
5. Think wisely before you all donate to any Pakatan Rakyat political party , dinner or cause and also vote wisely where it is already time to know they are not the real agent of change. Moreover more than 50% of the people and leaders in PKR are all UMNO recycle bin. Abusing millions of dollars of public fund is not something that we should take it lightly. Moreover they are the one that shouted for anti corruption and yet at the same time they are more corrupted than anybody on earth.

Siapa Rahim Gouse dan apa kaitannya dengan Bang Non (Anwar Ibrahim) secara lansung? Itu persoalan yang timbul tatkala nama mereka mula dikaitkan tak lama dahulu.

Isu ini bukan isu baru. Tetapi sehingga hari ini persoalan tersebut masih belum berjaya dijelaskan dan dijawab oleh Bang Non sendiri.

Selama ini, dia sering menuduh UMNO korup, Rasuah dan sebagainya. Hakikatnya BAPAK RASUAH dan KRONI paling besar adalah Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. 

Dia merupakan pengkhianat kepada rakyat kerana sewaktu dia jadi Menteri Keewangan dan Timbalan Perdana Menteri habis wang negara dirompak.

Rahim Ghouse yang mengumpul kekayaan melalui Abrar Group Inc semenjak awal tahun 90an telah melarikan diri keluar negara setelah Bang Non ditahan pada 20 September 1998. 

Dia ke Jakarta untuk mendapatkan sokongan luar negara, ketika itu Rahim bersama - sama dengan Saifuddin dan Ezam Mohd Nor. 

Apabila Ezam pulang ke tanahair bersama Saifuddin untuk menyertai gerakan reformasi, bekas Ketua Pemuda UMNO Pulau Pinang ini pergi menetap di Melbourne, Australia.

Sekitar tahun 2001 sewaktu anak lelaki Bang Non iaitu Mohd Ihsan menghadapi masalah displin di sekolah, Rahim Ghouse telah membawa Ihsan menetap di Australia.

Kini Abdul Rahim Ghouse dikenali sebagai Dr Abdul Rahim Ghouse, Chief Executive Officer – CEO Kuwait Finance House Australia.
